Vienna, 1920. The Austro-Hungarian Empire has collapsed. After years of captivity, Peter Perg returns home from the Great War. But the Vienna he returns to is nothing like the place he once knew and he is a stranger in his hometown. Suddenly, the mysterious killings of his former war comrades are mounting. Thus, Perg decides to bring the killer to justice. He finds an ally in the cool-headed forensic doctor Theresa Körner. Their investigation leads them into the darkest corners of the city. The film won the Prix du public UBS at the Locarno Film Festival in 2021.
